Creating intentional spaces for women and nonbinary folks to find companionship and try new things can be very powerful. That being said, we do plan to expand into offering all gender and family lodge-based opportunities in the future. Join our mailing list to make sure you hear about them!
Some of our workshops and tent/camping trips are also open to all genders.

We work to provide a variety of activities that you can choose from, but ultimately your time is your own and you can choose to be as involved (or not) as you’d like.
We ask that you show up at meal times or let us know that you’ll abstain so we don’t worry about you!

You can join on our lodge-based trips with any level of fitness. There will be a variety of activities that you can choose from that meet you where you are at.
If you have mobility challenges or concerns, please reach out to Anna at anna@adventureecologies.com so we can make sure you have the accomodations you need to feel comfortable and safe.

The food might not be fancy, but it will be filling and healthy. Depending on the trip, you can be involved in food prep and clean up if you choose to.
Breakfasts for lodge-based trips will generally be in a “continental” format with things like yogurt, granola, fruit, eggs, fresh muffins, etc.
Lunches vary - sometimes they are simple, like soup, sandwich, and salad. Sometimes we pack up lunches for taking on adventures, usually in some form of sandwich or wrap (gluten free available).
Dinners are relaxed and allow for everyone to share about their adventuresome day! Desert included.
Examples of past dinners:
Wood fired Personal Pizzas
Build Your Own Burrito Bowl
Chicken (and vegan) Wild Rice soup
Chili and Fresh Bread
Coffee/Tea/Cocoa are available all weekend. Dairy and Nondairy cream too, of course! Savory, sweet, and healthy snacks are also on hand.
We can accommodate most special diets, but if you have serious allergies or intolerances that we are unable to accommodate we may ask that you bring your own food to make sure that you can stay safe and filled! If this is the case, we’ll adjust your trip fee accordingly.

You can come for as much or as little of the weekend as you’d like!
In general, if you’re staying overnight you’ll pay the whole weekend fee, even if you don’t stay the whole time, since we need to pay our lodging partners for the bed or room you are staying in. However, you are more than welcome to come for what works in your schedule! No pressure!
If you’re only coming for a day and have somewhere else to stay we’ll work with you individually to decide what makes sense. Or, if you want to stay longer, there may be a possibility to extend your stay. For either scenario, please reach out to Anna at anna@adventureecologies.com.
