In this group camping weekend, we’ll have fun trying out gear, practicing skills, and getting out for some hiking. Please review the Intro to Backpacking: Gear Shakedown Overview and Policy Page prior to registering.
To make sure that we don’t overbook our numbers this weekend, the Community Supporting Rate is the default for this weekend. If you’d prefer to pay the Regular Rate you can use the code RRGEAR26 and if you need the Community Supported Rate, use code CSRGEAR26.
Unfortunately, Squarespace doesn’t let us stack discount codes, so if you want to register with a deposit only you can use the code AEDeposit with the Community Supporting Rate and we’ll follow up with you to sort out the remainder of your registration fee. It’s an imperfect system, but we do our best.
If there is no additional availability or if you are only interested in camping with us (if you’re feeling good with your skills and don’t want to attend the workshops) you can join the waitlist here: Gear Shakedown 2026 Waitlist. Depending on the numbers, we may be able to offer you a lower “only camping” rate.
